About Levi Stein

Levi Stein, born and bred in Detroit, Michigan, has been surrounded and inspired by Friendship Circle all his life. As a teen, Levi volunteered for The Friendship Circle of MI, creating a loving connection with his special friend to this very day! Levi attended rabbinical school in Rostov, Russia, and completed his studies at The Rabbinical College of America in Morristown NJ.

Before jump starting his career, he worked at the Chabad Headquarters in Brooklyn, New York, to establish their news agency, which covers stories about Jewish communities globally. He also led the Jewish crisis response effort after many national disasters: including the earthquake in Haiti, the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand, Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, and many more.

Levi founded and directed the Friendship Circle in Puerto Rico from 2010 to 2015 before he and his family settled in Milwaukee in 2016 to lead the Friendship Circle of Wisconsin and continue growing the circle of Friendship throughout our communities. When he isn’t working to make our community a better place, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.

Levi is a licensed SafeTALK Suicide Prevention trainer. He is extremely passionate about Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and has provided training to thousands of people throughout Wisconsin.

Levi is on the board of directors of the ADRC - Milwaukee County, NAMI-WI, and the North Shore Chamber of Commerce.
