    The statistics surrounding divorce have not improved much, and the statistics surrounding divorce for second marriages are even more grim. Most of my clients say they'll "never get married again," but really what they're saying is they do not want to go through the pain of divorce again. The best way to avoid the pain is to plan ahead. A frank discussion about finances and expectations and a well-bargained pre-nuptial agreement takes away the pain of potential divorce (or at least reduces it substantially). MORE >
