Dr. Carter is a coach, speaker and trainer with the John C. Maxwell certified program. He teaches proven laws of leadership that helps others reach the next level of success. He has expertise in the fields of education, leadership and mentoring.
In 2013 James was ordained as a bishop with the Pentecostal Churches of God and Anointed Word Assemblies International. In 2014 he received a Doctorate of Divinity from CICA International University and Seminary and Word of Life Christian Fellowship at which he also received an appointment as “Ambassador Dr. James Earl Carter.”
After serving 12½ years in the Army National Guard for, he met his wife of 25 years Andre` Carter. The couple has two children. James and Andre’ founded Carters’ Christian Academy, Inc., which has become a staple in the inner city of Milwaukee. Now in its 18th year, the academy has two locations and serves more than 250 children.
In 2014 James was honored by Milwaukee’s City Council for outstanding service in elementary education.

Bullying is a major problem in schools and others places. Research tells us that kids look to their parents or a trusted adult to give guidance and help make difficult decisions. On a daily basis, lines of communication should be open to kids reassuring them that parents or other adults are there for them. Problems and/or good things that happened in their day can be easily shared.
